I actually ordered a couple of other covers for my new Kindle 2 and ended up returning them. Third time was the charm! This is a WONDERFUL cover. I love it. Wasnt sure at first about the flip up cover. Thought I wanted one that opened like a BOOK! Well, I was wrong. I love the way it opens up over the top, and makes an easel stand. Very convenient for reading in bed…easy to hold or prop on my stomach and read hands free. I even prop it up by the bathroom sink while I’m brushing my teeth. The quality is great, well made, nice smooth leather. Feels good in your hands. I expect the cover will LONG outlive the life of this neat, little electronic device. I also bought the m-edge book light which is perfect for this cover (dont order the one recommended by Amazon, I did. Too heavy and doesnt work well with this cover.) The m-edge booklight fits perfectly and I can still fold it over and close my cover with the booklight in place. One nice, neat package. Booklight ready and available when/if I need it. With the protection of this cover, I carry my Kindle anywhere. It always attracts glances and comments. In short, this cover outperforms and surpasses any of the other ones being marketed. Forget the AMazon/Kindle cover. Who wants something that even has the potential to crack your new toy?? This one, no danger! Just soft leather & elastic corner straps that hold it in place nice and snug. Buy it, I’m sure you’ll be pleased.

The M-Edge team is great. I received my first jacket and it was discolored. I emailed M-Edge and got a response in a few hours and within a week I received a new, in perfect condition jacket. The jacket is made of a beautiful leather. My Kindle fits in it nicely and she feels very warm and protected. The leather smells good too. I want to say thank you to the M-edge team that responded so quickly to my complaint.

The M-Edge Platform Jacket for my Kindle 2 is not only sincere protection, but a noteworthy stand for my most treasured electronic device. I read a lot. Let me put that another way. I read any time that I have available. Bathroom, car rides, train crossings, barber shop… etc. Hey, I said all of the time. The M-Edge Platform jacket gives me confidence and is a good conversation piece. I have been approached by many about the rich color and executive appeal of my Kindle 2. I recommend it over the cheap (spelled less protective) covers.

I received my Kindle in the mail yesterday. It does just what I want it to do, I can change pages with both hands, or have it stand while I do other things with my hands. It got immediate responce from my co-workers when I stood it up in the break room while I was having lunch and was able to read at the same time. The color is good, the feel is good and it protects the Kindle as it should.
