So ok, first I started out with the Amazon Kindle Leather Cover which I loved. It looked great, felt great, the cover bent back completely flat while reading, and I loved that the Kindle was completely unobstructed by straps, etc. holding it in. Then it cracked my Kindle with the hinge/lock in feature. So I really wanted to ensure that this doesn’t happen to my new Kindle. So basically it was between the M-Edge Latitude and the Patagonia. I picked the M-Edge because it has slightly better reviews regarding actually holding the Kindle in place, and because it was a little cheaper. I received it yesterday, and I really don’t care for it. The straps are wide/thick, and when the cover is folded back for reading, it’s pretty bulky (1 1/4 inch thick including the Kindle) and my Kindle looks like it’s wearing a backpack! So I am going to try the M-Edge Go (most similar to the Amazon cover, but with thin straps to attach it to the back cover and hopefully prevent the bending prong/cracked Kindle problem). If only the Mivizu Sleek had some padding, I think it would be the perfect solution. No obtrusive straps, Kindle clips in without the hinge system, and it snaps closed.

I was concerned after seeing the first video review, but went ahead on the other reviews’ recommendations and purchased this. It has managed to protect my Kindle from everything. It’s great, and doesn’t look or feel cheap (despite the price being cheap in my opinion). The soft lining is nice, and the way it folds completely around the Kindle when opened is fantastic. And mine… zippers perfectly every time.

This is a great case for the Amazon Kindle 2. They must have improved the case after some of the other reviewers purchased it, because I have only positive things to say. It gives the device great protection with a nice amount of padding. The Materials are quite good and the Kindle fits snuggly. The storage compartment is not huge but comes in real handy. The standard Kindle leather case will not protect the device in a fall, but with this case you at least have more protection. It also works great with the m-edge light, which I also purchased. Whatever brand you choose, I stronly suggest a zippered case over the open type.

Works great. Straps hold, zipper zips, material and construction are solid. Doesn’t have the issues I see people complaining about with other products. I definitely recommend it.

Apparently there were issues with the cover in the past, but I decided to take a chance and found that this is a great, protective, non-bulky cover. NO problems with fit as others noted in their reviews.
Love the front zip pocket. It has room for the power cord, m-edge light and extra battery. The m-edge light slides in a pocket on the back so that when folded open the light is in perfect position. M-Edge e-Luminator2 Kindle Booklight (Fits 6″ Display, Latest Generation Kindle)
Try it, you’ll like it.
