i think i would prefer a magnetic closure as the tab can be difficult to slide into slot
i would like a name tag to identify cover
thanks, ro

This case has made me enjoy my Kindle 2 even more. Before buying it, I was afraid of dropping or banging the kindle. Now I feel that it is adequately protected. It looks nice and easily fits the charger while still on the kindle. Maybe a bit pricey but absolutely worth the peace of mind. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it is new and I’m not sure how it will last over timne.

I DEFINATELY prefer this cover to the G1 Kindle cover in it’s design and practicality!

When I bought my Kindle 2 I ordered a book sleeve for it. Thought I wanted to read from the Kindle without a cover. After it being knocked out of my hands twice by overexuberant dogs, (and luckily not broken), I realized I needed to keep it in the cover for protection.
I decided on this case because of the option to stand it up for hands-free reading. (I had been propping the Kindle up on the table before.) That feature works wonderfully. Plus, the Kindle fits snugly into the case. Some don’t like the extra 3/4 inch on the left side (to mount a book light, I guess), but I find it makes it easier to hold than the Kindle by itself. I also like the fact that I can charge the Kindle while in the case.
The only down side is that it adds bulk and a little weight to the Kindle (so it won’t fit into my smaller purse). While I thought it was “cool” that the Kindle was so small and light, protecting it and having the hands-free feature outweigh the intial “coolness” factor.
