I recently ordered and received the M-Edge Prodigy Jacket for my Kindle but had to return it. The inside lining of the jacket, described by M-Edge as microfiber, had a strong chemical odor, and the fumes gave me a mild asthma attack. I have clothing that’s microfiber but haven’t had any problems before this with that fabric type. I’ve occasionally run into this problem before – it appears to be a chemical used in processing some types of materials manufactured in Asia.
I don’t know how common this reaction is, so just consider this a word of caution if you’re considering this product and you have any respiratory issues.

I love this cover. Provides protection for my kindle and is very stylish. Also has an inside pocket for notes. The kindle is expensive and this cover is worth the money.

I really, really hate this case. It has a wide strip in the middle, apparently designed for a light to be attached. It makes the case floppy, ill-fitting and is completely unnecessary. A light is easily placed on the left side of the case or right on the top of the Kindle itself. In my opinion, it is just not a good design. If I had a sewing machine that would sew leather I would cut this right out.
I am really surprised at how awful the cases are that are available. Anything good is sold out immediately and not available for weeks or months. I ordered a Noreve case yesterday and I hope it is better than this. It is unavailable already, so if you want something good you have to be fast.
What is so hard about designing a case for the Kindle that fits, keeps the device secure and looks good? I could do it in about five minutes.

I love my new kindle cover. It has the new hinge system and pockets on the inside and a clasp to keep it closed. I also like the pocket for the optional light.
Can’t wait to go on vacation and just carry this instead of a suitcase of books.

I am really pleased with this jacket for my Kindle. It’s lightweight but durable and it is very nice-looking. I don’t think I would even have noticed that the leather is synthetic unless I had known before buying it. The color is lighter than shown in the picture but is a really pretty shade and I prefer it to the navy that is featured on the site. The only thing that I think could be a little better is that when the jacket is open, the hinge is pretty loose between the two covers so the front one waggles around a little. However, that’s a tiny detail and overall this is a great product!
