the bundle monster leather case cover is everything i expected! the leather is of high quality, the kindle
fits snugly with the leather corner straps holding the kindle securely in place. the magnetic closure holds
the case closed. the opening around the case allows for easy access to the ports on the kindle. i would
strongly recommend this to anyone looking for a leather kindle case for the 3rd generation kindle.

I have to agree with most of the first reviewer-I received mine yesterday
as a gift from my sister who knows I love purple. Had Amazon offered one in the same
color I would have gone for that (I got their apple green which I love and my skin is the Tahiti one which goes w/everything and very pretty) as the only thing I am a little bit
concerned with is that there is no felt-covering that when closed, will cover over the kindle screen. Amazon’s cover is made especially to protect that screen and this particular bundle one had the ’sharper’ or rougher edges of the slots for your credit cards or whatever-resting directly on
top of that screen when closed. I am just a little nervous of scratching….but since this was a gift and I absolutely love the color-although nuch darker shade in person-it does sit firmly in their with the ‘bands’–but then again my Amazon cover does the same with their hinges…so I don’t feel any one ‘type’ holds it in more securely than the other. But just
going to use is sparingly as I dont want to scratch the screen. I noticed that the same version but only non-leather has the added pockets on the bottom part that covers the keyboard. I wish the leather one had that as well….I wouldn’t be as nervous about any possible scratching. But perhaps it will be fine.

I just got my cover yesterday. I personally like change, so I imagine I’ll change out my skin & cover “relatively” frequently so I didn’t want to spend very much. Certainly not what some of the Kindle covers cost! Overall I’m very pleased with this purchase…
I adore the color! It does smell like leather, so I guess that means it’s real. LOL The color is definitely more of a reddish brown than I expected it to be – but fortunately, that suits me just fine. I wanted a cover that had pockets inside it so that when I travel I can just put my room key inside the cover (I’m constantly losing room keys). There are several inner pockets so I’ll be able to carry a credit card with me – if I dare. I really, really like the suedey-interior that the Kindle itself rests on. It’s very soft to the touch and it’s also visible where the inner binding is (if you can call it that). The straps that hold the Kindle in seem very sturdy (yes, I shook it to be sure). The bottom two straps are leather and the top two are elastic but if you look at the Amazon pictures you’ll see that the elastic is partially covered by leather. Very nice touch.
The cover closes by a snap that’s magnetic, so I put zero pressure on my Kindle in trying to close the cover. The binding folds back all the way but is not completely parallel to the back of the Kindle – it’s a slight angle. The only con I have so far is what to do with the magnetic enclosure piece when I’m reading. It CAN snap onto the front cover when folded back, but so far the leather’s stiff enough that it causes the cover to be at a greater angle when folded back (hopefully that makes sense). That might change once the leather’s been softened up a bit?
As I said, overall I really like it and am very happy with my purchase
