This cover was as described, but not much to speak of. Inside, there are elastic straps to hold the Kindle, but they do not adequately hold it in place. There is no padding, so if you use it as a cover and then place it in a bag, the buttons can be pressed, losing your place.

First, this case has a smell that I can’t get rid of on both of the cases I’ve had (the horrible neon green and now the plain black). There is nothing to this simple case. In the inside, it has 2 elastic pieces on the right side (one at the top and bottom outside corners) to hold the Kindle DX in place. While the elastics are holding the right side of the Kindle in place, the left flap just hangs there. If you have your Kindle cord in the outside pocket,it makes it cumbersome to hold the left flap in a comfortable position for reading (it becomes bulky). Also, on the left side it has a quasi-pocket in which I guess you could slide the Kindle DX on this side; however, it really isn’t secure on this side. Again, the cover also has a smell that I can’t get rid of – on both covers that I’ve had – it smells cheap. I’m just not satisfied with the product, although the company seems to be quite professional in the area of customer service. The good thing about the product is that the cover has protected my device when I’ve gotten caught outside in inclement weather; my Kindle has been perfectly safe. The rubber cover and screen protector are ok, although I still got air bubbles under the protective screen no matter how careful I’ve been to clean the screen first and smooth out bubbles (just like I’ve successfully done on my PDA). The clear rubber/plastic cover is starting to get dingy.UGH!
So, I guess I’m in the market YET AGAIN! I feel as though I’ve wasted money yet again. Maybe, I should just purchase the standard leather DX case. Any suggestions Kindle DX owners?

For me, this is a very practical and protective cover for my Kindle. Easy to use, good quality and was a particularly good price !!

Love this case! It’s perfect for the Kindle because I like to take the Kindle out of a case while reading. The front pocket fits the charging cord so you never forget it!

Perfect fit for my kindel…neoprene, so water resistant. the pocket stores cord easily. will buy another for my new kindle!
