This case is exactly what I wanted. The canvas is padded, just enough to give protection without being bulky and remaining streamlined. The kindle is secured properly and I have no problems with it slipping out. The lining inside is like a faux suede, but silky smooth to the touch. The elastic that holds it shut is an important feature and seems pretty sturdy. Further, the canvas with the khaki and leather accents give the case a classic look. In sum, it is both functional and good looking.

I really like this cover. It doesn’t have any hinges to hold my Kindle so there is no danger of any damage. You can read with the cover on. I also like the color I picked. It’s bold and different.I’m thinking of buying another in a different cover.

This little book jacket is perfect for my Kindle (6″ regular version). The entire thing has a pleasant soft cloth covering with a sturdy leather spine. The Kindle sits perfectly within, fastened to the backing by four little elastic bands at each corner. I bought this particular type of cover after hearing that the harder plastic ones were cracking or worse even chipping the device! I bought the yellow one which is decidedly a bright yellow with tan spine and elastics (the interior is a muted tan as well).
All in all, the jacket is very pleasing to hold and easy on the eyes. I forgot to mention that the spine is very flexible letting you fold the front cover around to the back when reading, if you prefer it that way. I kind of feel like Penny from Inspector Gadget now, hahaha.

I like this cover for my kindle, but it is definitely not the color that I thought I was ordering. Instead of a pretty muted yellow…its more of a bright ugly yellow. But otherwise its a good cover.
