The cover looks good, and I agree with an earlier reviewer who said you can barely tell that the product is made from synthetic leather. The magnetic clasp is effective, and the pockets are convenient.
That being said, the elastic bands that hold your Kindle in place aren’t that great. The bottom right band covers the ‘Back’ button, but you can still use the button through the band. The top left band however sometimes catches the Power switch and keeps it in the ‘off/sleep’ position. This then resets the Kindle- thank goodness for archives.

I purchased the purple synthetic leather cover. I am very happy with it. The purple is a light purple. You cannot tell that the cover is not real leather. It light and slim. I have had a Kindle from the beginning. I have purchased 8 M-Edge covers of varying styles. They were all bulky and expensive.
This is my favorite cover. It’s looks good, has pockets inside, same soft material used in other companies covers.. Kindle is held in place with elastic bands on each corner. It is very sturdy and secure. I will be purchasing this cover in other colors. Excellent product!!!Best of all, it’s cheap!

I have to say I wasn’t expecting much from this Kindle cover, in fact I got it as an interim cover to keep the Kindle in until the fancy leather one was available to ship. Well I love it and I’ve cancelled the leather one, this one will do fine. It’s lightweight, I love the color and the magnetic closure works great (it even holds the cover in place behind your Kindle when it’s open). It’s also got cute little pockets to throw your credit card or a few dollars in, if you so desire.
The one things I didn’t like was that the upper left corner strap blocked the on/off switch (though it was still usable through the elastic) however I solved this problem handily by simply leaving the fourth strap behind the Kindle’s body. Three straps are perfectly sufficient to hold the Kindle really securely (even two will work, uncovering your “back” button, if they are opposite each other. However there’s no reason you can’t press the “back” button through the elastic.).
This cover is a great inexpensive alternative to the fancy ones, that works great!

this is a great case for Kindle 2, super light weight, super thin, easy to carry around. Great price, Great quality, Great customer service, and super fast shipment.
