I finally got a memory card for my Kindle 1 so I could download audible books as well as my regular stash of reading. This card works great & I was really happy with the speedy delivery. I should of got this a long time ago. I still just love my Kindle & now my grandson is hooked. We both like to listen to the audible books & it helps him learn to focus.

The SD worked instantly with my Kindle 1, didn’t have any troubles at all. I just popped it in and started loading books onto it, I’ve already put in about 120 books and there is still tons of space for more. Anyone with a Kindle 1 would benefit greatly with this SD card.

I PURCHASED TWO OF THESE MEMORY CARDS HERE AND NEITHER WORKS WITH OUR KINDLE’S. I’VE SPENT HOURS AND HOURS ON THE TELEPHONE TRYING TO GET THEM TO WORK WITH THE KINDLE. THEY DO WORK ON IBM COMPUTERS BUT THERE IS NO WAY TO GET THEM TO WORK ON THE KINDLE. IT WAS 6 MONTHS BEFORE I NEEDED THEM SO AM SURE THEY CAN NOT BE RETURNED. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOURS WORKS RIGHT AWAY , EVEN IF YOU DON’T NEED EXTRA MEMORY IMMEDIATELY.

I have a Kindle 1, this Memory Card is all that I wanted, and more. Despite the one review to the contrary, it did not need to be formatted to work with my Kindle. It worked the moment I put it in, and hasn’t failed me yet.
More importantly (to me), if it ever does fail, I am assured that Accessory Genie will promptly answer any question I might have quickly and professionally. Within a week of my purchase, they contacted me to make sure I received the card and was satisfied with its performance.
True Customer Service is a rare commodity in this day and age, and I more than appreciate their follow-up.

Works Great…At first I had some reservations about buying,due to some other reviews stated it didn’t work.
My kindle(old Version) was starting to act a little sluggish because I had so many books on it.
Popped the back off my Kindle, inserted the memory card and transfered all data,even books I had deleted.
It took maybe 10 minutes from start to finish, from opening the back cover to closing it back up.
I”m not really in to reading any “Let’s get started Manual” so I tend to wait till something becomes a problem before I browse the pages…..Long story short, I wasn’t even aware that the Kindle 1 had a slot to accommodate a SDM card.
My funky old Kindle works Great now, plus no more having to delete my finished books !
