I really disliked the feel of the gelskin over my kindle. Its sticky and made me conscious of it constantly. Just does not feel good. Adapting to not having the feel of a book in my hands is hard enough. Then having the tactile feel of paper replaced with a gummy surface just does fit me well.
Also the screen covers immediatly had bubbles I could not remove. I trashed them on the spot
Just not the product for me And a waste of my money.

I had problems getting this on my Kindle and once on it gaps in spots. The material is thin and doesn’t really seem to protect anything. I didn’t like the way it felt either so I wound up removing this and just throwing it away.

I like this cover because it is thin, allowing it to be easily fitted into my Belkin neoprene case. I also like the contoured design on the back that finally offers me a good grip on the extremely slippery Kindle 2.
The fit leaves a little to be desired, but the excellent grip ,more than makes up for this.
The screen protector however, did not quite fit the screen (it was slightly too big), and I found the shiny surface to be unacceptable. Way too much glare.

The skin cover is so thin it is flimsy at best. It doesn’t really hold in place very well. Within a couple of days, it had black fingerprint smudges all over it (not from dirty hands). It looks as though it has been dusted for fingerprints and it does not come clean. It attracts every little speck of dust, lint, and pet hair. Also, the screen protector produces a horrible glare (which is contradictory to one of the Kindle’s main features) so the screen does not read like paper when in any kind of light.

The case itself is ok, it doesn’t fit as tightly as it should, there are gaps around where the edges and kindle meet in certain spots. the screen protector does not adhere well at all
