I recently received my Kyoto Flip case for Kindle 2, and it is AWESOME!!! The overall design of the case is perfect, it provides a secure cover that will protect your Kindle with nary a chance that it will fall out. I have even shaken it upside down with the cover flap open (over the bed, just in case) and the Kindle will not come out. The cover is precisely cut with perfect access to all buttons and ports, and the kickstand is an added bonus! Plus, because I was concerned after reading so many reviews of hinge-type cases cracking the Kindles, the fact that the Kindle is held in a sleeve is a huge positive!
A couple of words about JAVOedge descriptions, however. They REALLY need to be more clear about the materials and colors in their products. For example, looking at the picture, I expected the primary color of the case and the interior to be black. It is actually a dark espresso brown background to the print and a dark espresso interior (with some black accents). I was also expecting the cover material to be more of a cotton sateen or along those lines, and the fabric isn’t quite that fine. It’s still soft, though. And the weave of the material is probably a good thing for the longevity of the case.
Though they don’t show it in the pictures, the flip cover itself has a pocket for small papers as well as a window pocket for an ID, business card or even a little picture. The closure is using two covered magnets in the extreme outer corners of the flip cover and then again in the interior. The case closes securely and I feel that my Kindle is very well protected.
To all this, add the fact that it uses no animal products, and the price is outstanding. I don’t see why anyone would buy anything BUT a JAVOedge case for their Kindle!

I just received my cover, and I love it. Very comfortable for me to hold (I have problems with my left hand right now) and I love the look of the fabric.
The kickstand is great. It snaps to the back of the cover when you’re not using it, so it’s not flopping around while you’re holding it, and it’s very stable to use on a table. Case doesnt wobble when using the kickstand.
I think I’m going to get a lot of reading done with my Kindle in this case.
I have to go read now.
