It is not practical at all, for 5 reasons:
1. You can not use your own files directly and have to email them to a specific web site to be converted or “compatibilized”.
2. Even if you accepted that, not all word and PDF files can be comverted.
3. Some languages like Arabic and Persian are not compatible.
4. You have to pay a fee for converting and compatibilizing your files.
5. Large files are not acceptable or return very late (more than a week)
It is a waste of money. I prefer using a small 10 inches lab top to read my ebooks and files.

I got stuck with an early shipment of the m-Edge leather cover for Kindle 1. It took 2 months for Kindle 2 to arrive, while they shipped the leather cover immediately.
By the time I received the Kindle and realized it did not fit in the m-Edge properly, the return window for the m-Edge had expired.

I thought this would be a good basic cover and maybe I am used to the Oberon, Strangedog and Medge covers I have had for my K1, which I loved, but this thing is so basic.. NO internal business card holder.. and the way those clips work I worry about scratching my kindle..
I have also found the fake leather to have an odd almost petroleum smell. The thing I found was poorly made.. one of the boards was starting to come unglued.. I called to get authorization to send it back today.. I will just wait until my other one arrives.. UGH not for this money..

Leave this on a table, and everyone knows exactly what it is available to grab. Prefer something that looks more like a thin Day Runner… Recession era theft will be up, have to think ahead…

I agree with the other reviewers. It feels cheap and looks cheap. The construction is mediocre. It is also pleather with a pleather smell. However, it does the job
