Received shipment much sooner than I expected, for that I give one of 3 stars overall; 2 stars for beauty, style and function. What I didn’t expect is the first time I traveled with this new cover, I opened my suitcase to find that it was slighly bowed, or arched across the middle, probably from being up against a harder object for several hours. I can’t get it to straighten out even with a heavy weight placed on top for a whole weekend (huge coffee table book weighs >15 lbs). It still holds the kindle in place, and so far hasn’t slipped out of the case, so the cover remains functional. Just a little disappointed in the overall quality.

I am very pleased with my cover. The red patent leather is very soft and doesn’t show fingerprints. It was difficult to fold to read at first, but after a few days it folded without any difficulty and is now very flexible. One downside is the magnetic clasp doesn’t always latch on the first try and it won’t latch when it is folded over for reading. This could be solved by making the magnet larger and stronger.
The overall size is a little larger that I would like, but that is due to the ability to hold the light which tucks snugly in its own spot. The Kindle can easily be removed, but will not fall out even when shaken vigorously (over the couch). It comes with a felt sleeve which I keep it in when it is in my purse. I would definitely buy this again!

This is the most Gorgeous Kindle cover I have ever seen. I had to buy the cover as soon as I saw it. I Love this cover. If you buy this cover you will not be sorry.

This patent leather jacket is more than functional and beautiful as well. At first I was hesitant to spend the money when there were many choices for the half the price. It is worth every penny. Very well made, a beautiful color patent; you can tell it’s real leather and not plastic. The sueded inside looks and feels great when holding it open (I leave my kindle in the jacket while I’m reading). When I carry it out with me I’m often stopped and asked what it is I’m carrying; a great advertisement for kindle and the jacket.

Beautiful slick red cover for my beautiful new Kindle. Easy to find. Feels great on my hands as I read. Easy to hold.
