This case fits PERFECTLY for the Kindle 2. It measures about 8.5″ x 5.75″ which allows for plenty of margin around it for padding to mold to the edges and reduces the chance for zipper scratches. The straps hold my Kindle 2 in place when the case is opened AND closed without slippage. Padding doesn’t scratch my device and the front pocket can hold my charger. I highly recommend this case for Kindle 2 owners.

This cover fits the larger kindle. Ordered it and found that out. Did not hate it but wished that it had said that it was for DX.
